このたびAaP / roidworksgalleryでは、16歳で初個展を開催し、その後もZ世代を代表する現代アーティストとして活躍する鈴木一世による個展『REFLECTION』を開催いたします。

AaP/roidworksgallery is pleased to announce “REFLECTION,” a solo exhibition by Issei Suzuki, a contemporary artist representing Generation Z who has been active since his first solo show at the age of 16.

鈴木は、言葉にならない感情や思考が交錯する刹那を、まるですくい上げるようにして作品へと昇華させてきました。その表現は、国境や文化といったあらゆる枠組みを超えて響き合う“視覚言語”として現れ、複雑に重なる色彩と有機的なフォルムが、観る者の内面に対話を促します。

本展では、「情景、感情の投影」をテーマに制作。熱量と静謐がせめぎ合う筆致が、私たちの深層に眠る感覚や記憶を呼び覚まし、心の奥底にそっと問いを投げかけることでしょう。

2022年にはadidasとのコラボレーションを発表、2023年には文化庁主催プロジェクト「MICUSRAT」に参加。近年は中国をはじめとする海外での発表を重ね、表現の場を国際的に広げています。 国内では約1年ぶりとなる個展となりますので、是非この機会にご高覧賜りますようご案内申し上げます。

Suzuki captures the fleeting moments where inexpressible emotions and thoughts intersect, elevating them into his art. This expression manifests as a visual language that resonates across borders and cultures, where his complex, overlapping colors and organic forms encourage an internal dialogue with the viewer.

This exhibition presents works created under the theme “Projection of Scenery and Emotion.” His brushwork, a competition between intensity and tranquility, awakens dormant senses and memories deep within us and gently poses questions to our innermost selves.

He announced a collaboration with adidas in 2022 and participated in the “MICUSRAT” project, sponsored by the Agency for Cultural Affairs, in 2023. In recent years, he has increasingly presented his work overseas, particularly in China, and continues to broaden his international presence.

This is Suzuki’s first solo exhibition in Japan in nearly a year. We warmly invite you to experience his work.
